October News

September 29, 2025  |   Est. reading time is 2 minutes

Dear Friends,

It’s officially fall with cool, crisp days, and the smells of pumpkin spice everywhere. Fall is the time to start looking at the changes we will experience as we transition into cooler weather. It’s the time for football, fairs, and festivals. It’s a great time to get back indoors for some yoga too.

And remember, yoga is not just about what you do on the mat or in the chair when you are at class. Bring what you learn into your everyday life. For instance, if you at a football game and have been sitting for awhile, do your lower half tapping. If you have a problem you can’t seem to solve, put it aside, set an intention that something or someone will come to help, and refocus. And if you need to train your nervous system to accept joy, think of something that made you smile and tap it into your ajna chakra.

Remember practice makes perfect and that’s why we call it a yoga practice. Be kind to yourself, accept the challenges, and you will be successful!
