About Anita

Yoga wasn’t always my most favorite thing in the world. The truth is – I didn’t like it for the longest time!

It comes down to this – yoga is far more about the lifestyle and peaceful way of being than it is about the movement. Movement is just one aspect of yoga – and it wasn’t until I lived through a very fraught time in my life that it finally clicked.

Wherever you fall on the loving-yoga spectrum, please know you’re welcome and wanted in any class I teach or workshop I offer.

Professional Bio

Anita Perry is a yoga author, educator, and show host who has helped people for nearly 50 years in the health and fitness world. She has a Master’s Degree in Education and is a E-RYT500 Registered Yoga Teacher, as well as a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider. She provides yoga instruction and meditation in group, individual, corporate, and school settings. She has been featured on local TV and in many online articles about yoga and meditation. Anita is the author of Yogaminute and Yoga Wisdom-Reflections of a Practicing Yogi. She was voted Best Yoga and Meditation Instructor two years in a row by Thumbtack and has been interviewed nationally and internationally.
